What and Where is The Myrtle Beach Resort?
The Myrtle Beach Resort is a 33-acre, gated, oceanfront resort, comprised of 4 buildings and almost one thousand condominiums.
The resort is situated on the ocean about 2
miles South of the Myrtle Beach City Limits at 5905 S Kings Hwy.
What amenities are located on the property?
The Resort provides 24-hr security and has 6 pools (2 indoors and 1 beach front), an oceanfront cabana bar, a water park with a 375 foot lazy river, 2 lighted tennis courts, Jacuzzis, steam rooms, guest laundry facilities, a deli, and over 700 feet of beach!
How are the Condominiums furnished?
Each condominium is fully-furnished with all major appliances
including a stove, a full-sized refrigerator with ice maker, television, microwave, vacuum cleaner, pots & pans and utensils. Most have disposals and dishwashers.
How much are the property taxes on a
typical Condo?
Property taxes are based on the value of the condominium determined by the purchase price (which
is affected by the condo's size and location).
How is the Property Protected ?
The Resort is located outside the Myrtle
Beach city limits in Horry County. However, Police and Fire Protection
are provided by both Myrtle Beach and Surfside Beach in conjunction with the Horry County Police and Fire Departments.
How much are the Homeowners Association
Fees ?
Each Building at The Myrtle Beach Resort is governed by a
separate H.O.A. and there is a Master Board, with representatives
from each Association, which governs the combined property.
The H.O.A. Fees are set by the various Board of Directors.
The Monthly Fees vary, depending on the size and location
of the Condo. The Fees for the Year 2010 are as follows:

What do the Homeowners Association Fees
cover ?
Fees cover insurance
on the building, buildings and grounds maintenance,
electricity for common areas, pest control, water, sewer, trash collection,
management fees, and support of the master association, which
provides cable TV service, phones and local phone service, and 24-hr security.
Does Each Homeowner have to carry Insurance
?
Each homeowner should carry liability insurance and insurance on the contents of the condo.
What about Heating and Air Conditioning
?
The owner is responsible for each condo's own central heating and cooling system.
What about electricity?
The electric bill is the responsibility of each owner.
What Fee is charged by Myrtle Beach Resort Vacations for Renting
the Condo?
Myrtle Beach Resort Vacations
offers rental services for 30% of the gross rental income.
What other costs are involved in ownership?
The remaining cost is for maintenance of
the condominium (repair or replacement of items,
such as furnishings, furniture, fixtures, equipment, and
housewares).
